Genome Project Solutions

In June, 2008, CLC Bio made available its first licenses to the CLC Genomics Workbench, a set of tools for whole genome analysis along with an API that facilitates the development of plug-ins for additional bioinformatics tasks. The first licenses were issued to the Beijing Genome Institute in June, and Genome Project Solutions began an evaluation of this software immediately thereafter. After about one month of testing, it was clear that this was an effective tool with significant expansion capability. CLC Bio makes these licenses available for $10,000 to academic and non-profit corporations and $20,000 to for-profit corporations.
